The new Pope is NOT a fan of Donald Trump!

Pope Leo XIV, formerly known as Cardinal Robert Prevost, has made his stance on immigration clear and unwavering: every person, regardless of origin, deserves compassion, dignity, and care. His views have placed him at odds with several prominent American political figures, including Vice President JD Vance and former President Donald Trump.

Earlier in 2025, JD Vance delivered a speech invoking the Latin phrase ordo amoris, or “order of love,” arguing that people should prioritize caring for their own families and fellow citizens before extending help to immigrants. Pope Leo XIV respectfully rejected this philosophy, suggesting that love cannot and should not be rationed based on nationality or proximity. According to reports from The Daily Beast, the pope actively engaged with social media posts that challenged Vance’s assertions and reaffirmed the universal message of love central to Christian doctrine—one that aligns closely with the teachings of Pope Francis.
